As Ancient as some things may be, they still exist today in places you will recognize. Ancient designs from Ancient Times are now worn in the New York Runways and Shows, can you recognize where they come from?
Re-invented and Designed with Elegance

Naeem Khan, an Indian-American fashion designer has come to create an elegant version of an Egyptian dress, incorporating details around the waist, sleeves and collar.
Some might have seen the Ancient Egyptian gowns as unsuitable for their taste in the past. Designers today- like khan- revolutionize those old designs and make them suitable for special occasions using different fabrics. Those changes accommodate the needs and wants of today's fashion consumers.
Although Ancient Egyptians were known for their high-quality cool linen, and grand cultured designs. Today designers are re-creating similar gowns with the same aesthetics, only with new fabrics considered appropriate and fashionable today.

More about Ancient Egyptians Jewelry
Precious stones were used on dresses of the upper class representing wealth and luxury. Jewelry was worn often and gave off a heavy statement. Much like today, the more gold and diamonds worn, the more likely you are to stand out in the crowd.
Accessories are a major way in which one can represent their social status, wealth, and personality. The gold worn by Egyptians at that time came from Nubia-Ethiopia. Surprisingly, silver was more expensive than gold at that time.
The way in which their jewelry was designed for both genders is similar; the necklaces were layered into more than one round necklace, each with the same stones but more details on the last lower layer.
