2. Mules
Mules (backless shoes and slippers) were first invented in the in 1960's. They were mostly heeled and worn as high heel slippers by women, from the 16th to the 19th century. They were mostly famous in Europe. Today, they are re-invented by Gucci and are considered extremely fashionable.
